Stephen first got hooked on Argentine Tango after watching a National Geographic documentary on Tango narrated by Robert Duvall. He went on to study Tango with many masters in the United States and on several extended stays in Buenos Aires, including Migual Zotto, Milena Plebs, Ezequiel Farfaro, Gustavo Naveira, Lorena Ermocida, Leandro Palou, Andrea Misse, Gabriel Misse, Pepito Avellaneda, Natalia Games, Gabriel Angio, Mora Godoy Tango Studio Bs. As. and last but not least Pablo Veron. Stephen feels that the many facets of Tango and its dynamic nature offer endless opportunity for creativity, expression and connection. He has acquired a thorough appreciation on various styles of Tango from milongeuro to salon to fantasia. He has taught Tango in Washington, D.C. and has performed in both Washington, D.C. Stephen teaches classes and workshops at Paradise Studio in Portland.
